SATURDAY 21ST APRIL - ISTANBUL
    Welcome to Istanbul, a city steeped in history! You’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Tonight get to know your travelling companions and meet your guide. Overnight Istanbul.

SUNDAY 22ND APRIL - ISTANBUL OLD CITY
    After breakfast, enjoy a fully guided tour of Istanbul – once known as the former imperial capital of the Byzantine and Ottoman empires. We visit the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofya, soak in the Sultan’s opulence at Topkapi Palace and explore the Hippodrome. Additionally, we have the chance to learn how carpets are made by hand with a traditional carpet weaving demonstration. This evening enjoy a delicious welcome meeting with your fellow travellers. MONDAY 23RD APRIL - GALLIPOLI
    Early morning departure, headed towards the WW1 battlefields of Gallipoli. Our guided tour of the area will cover ANZAC Cove, Lone Pine Australian War Memorial & cemetery, Chunuk Bair New Zealand War Memorial & cemetery, the Nek, Johnston’s Jolly and the many fortified trenches still clearly visible amongst the scrub after all these years. Later, we enjoy a short ferry ride across the Dardanelles. Overnight Guzelyali (B, L, D)

TUESDAY 24TH APRIL
CAPE HELLES SERVICES, TROY

    The morning is spent at the southern end of the Gallipoli Peninsula witnessing the International Service at the Turkish Memorial, Mehmetcik Abide. Afterwards pay your respects while watching the Commonwealth Service at the British Memorial. We then head across the Dardanelles and visit the archaeological ruins of Troy, home of the famed Trojan Horse. Your afternoon is free to explore or rest prior to an 11 pm departure for ANZAC Cove. WEDNESDAY 25TH APRIL
ANZAC DAY AT GALLIPOLI

    On this special day we commemorate our fallen forefathers at the ANZAC Dawn Service. We also attend the Australian &/or New Zealand Memorial services before returning to our hotel for some well deserved rest. Overnight Guzelyali (B, D)

THURSDAY 26TH APRIL
ISTANBUL, BOSPHORUS CRUISE

    Today we have a late morning departure back to the exciting city of Istanbul. A Bosphorous cruise is the perfect way to see the amazing sites of this exotic city and a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. Overnight Istanbul (B)

    After breakfast, our tour concludes and we say goodbye to our new friends before being transferred to the airport for your onward flight. (B)
