hot-air ballooning in luxor
See ancient Luxor from a different angle. Imagine drifting silently over temples, not only seeing ancient sites and ruins but also villages waking up in the early morning sun. Sail through the air over sugar cane fields and temples. See desert land and the Nile in the distance. See if you can spot Medinet Habu, the Ramesseum, Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon or maybe have a conversation with the locals as you drift a few metres from their rooftops. You can on a hot air balloon flight!
An aerial adventure awaits! Climb into the basket and be amazed as 100 feet of voluminous fabric majestically rises with the dragon-like roar of the flame. Ballooning is like serendipity, which is the act of making happy and unexpected discoveries by sheer chance. The balloon’s course is entirely dependent upon the wind, so no two flights are ever the same.
Keep your eyes peeled for photo opportunities. The supremely steady balloon basket will ensure images ‘without the shakes’. Dependent upon wind conditions, the pilot can ‘turn’ the balloon using ‘rotation venting’ to achieve panoramic views.
For a unique aerial adventure, bolt-on Hot air ballooning! Offered on all group tours (excl. Jewel of the Nile), family tours and tailor-made itineraries.
