This Budget tour is for travellers who want to see Turkey on a shoestring. Step back in time and wander roads where Trojan, Greek, Roman and Anatolia warriors once trod. Our budget tour range is the only fully optional tours available in Turkey. They are pitched at independent budget travellers and backpackers, departing regularly from April to October in an anti-clockwise direction from Istanbul.

This fully optional tour travels the famous Hoponhop off Bus circuit (stopping at the most popular places). However if you prefer longer in any place you can simply hop off the tour and then hop on the next hoponhopoffBus tour coming through. Just make sure you let us know at least 7 days in advance.

Also you don’t even have to start in Istanbul! You can choose the Shoestring Silk Trail Tour if you are coming from the Greek Isles and heading to Istanbul, or if you want to do the full Shoestring Turkey Tour circuit you can start at any place on the itinerary and then travel back to the same point to finish the tour.
