Day 1 Saturday                           Welcome to Istanbul

Welcome to Istanbul where you will be transferred to your hotel located in the heart of the old city. The remainder of the day is yours free to explore. Overnight Istanbul.

Day 2 Sunday                                  Istanbul old city

Tour the city that spans both Europe and Asia visiting the Blue Mosque, the Aya Sofya, Topkapi Palace, the Underground Cistern and the Hippodrome. Group dinner tonight. Overnight Istanbul. (B,D)

Day 3 Monday                            Gallipoli battlefields

Today we visit the WWI Battlefields of Gallipoli including Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair Memorials, ANZAC Cove, the Nek, Johnston's Jolly and the Kaba Tepe Gallipoli Museum. Overnight Guzelyali. (B,L,D)

Day 4 Tuesday                             Troy, Acropolis of Pergamum

 Step back in time today as we visit Troy and its famed Trojan Horse, followed by a tour of the magnificent acropolis of Pergamum. Its impressive temples, library and medical facilities made it a renowned cultural and political centre in its time. Overnight Kusadasi. (B,D)

Day 5 Wednesday                            Ephesus, Kusadasi

Absorb yourself in history today with a guided tour of Ephesus. Walk down Marble Road towards the Celsus Library and Grand Theatre. We also visit the Leather goods display. Turkey produces some of the finest leather goods in the world and many are made here before branding in Italy. Overnight Kusadasi. (B,D)

Day 6 Thursday                          Pamukkale, Hierapolis, Fethiye

Tour the magnificent white calcium formations of Pamukkale, followed by the ancient city of Hierapolis. Take a dip in the hot springs that were used in Roman times for their therapeutic powers. Overnight Fethiye. (B,L)

Day 7 Friday                                 Fethiye boat cruise

A lazy day boat cruise leaving from Fethiye to the 12 Islands. Board the boat for a day you won't forget. Lunch is served on the boat along the way. In the afternoon sail back to Fethiye. Overnight Fethiye. (B,L)

Day 8 Saturday                                        Fethiye

Today you have a free day to do whatever you choose. Paraglide, swim, recover, relax or take a diving tour. Overnight Fethiye. (B)

Day 9 Sunday                                          Antalya

You have free time this morning. In the afternoon we will visit Karakoy an old Greek village and drive to Antalya. Overnight Antalya. (B)

Day 10 Monday                   Aspendos, Perge, Kursunlu Waterfall

Begin today with a tour of the ancient ruins of Aspendos, which is known for one of the best preserved theatres of Asia Minor, this impressive theatre is still used today. Visit the wonderful ancient city of Perge where St Paul preached his first sermon, it was one of the biggest ancient Roman cities in Asia Minor. Before arriving in Antalya we visit Kursunlu waterfall. Overnight Antalya. (B)

Day 11 Tuesday                  Tinaztepe Cave, Konya, Sultanhani

Early departure for Konya, stopping en-route to visit the natural beauty of Tinaztepe sink hole and cave. Once in Konya we visit the monastery of the whirling dervishes and the mausoleum of Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi. Drive the afternoon to Cappadocia via Sultanhani. This is a fine example of a Seljuk Caravanseri and the largest in Anatolia. Overnight Cappadocia. (B,D)

Day 12 Wednesday              Cappadocia, Goreme, Uchisar castle

Marvel at the lunar landscape of Cappadocia with a fully guided tour of Goreme Valley, the fairy chimneys, Uchisar castle and more. Tonight, don't miss the optional traditional Turkish folklore evening! Overnight Cappadocia. (B,D)

Day 13 Thursday              Cappadocia, Ihlara Valley, Derinkuyu Underground City

  Today we trek through the wildly beautiful Ihlara Valley and explore Derinkuyu Underground City. Overnight Cappadocia. (B,D)

Day 14 Friday                            Nation's Capital Ankara

Today we visit the nation's capital, Ankara, with a tour of the Ancient Civilisation Museum. Overnight Istanbul. (B)

Day 15 Saturday                          Istanbul

After breakfast our tour concludes and we say goodbye to our new friends. (B)
