Welcome to Istanbul! Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by a Fez Travel representative and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or explore the city at your own pace. For a memorable first evening, an optional Bosphorus Dinner Cruise is available, offering beautiful views, Turkish cuisine, and live entertainment.
Duration: 9 AM to 4 PM. Explore Istanbul’s top highlights on this full-day tour, visiting iconic sites such as the Hagia Sophia (St. Sophia/Aya Sofya), Byzantine Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace (including Hagia Irene and the Harem, closed on Tuesdays), and the bustling Grand Bazaar. The tour also includes a stop at a carpet workshop, where you’ll discover the traditional art of handmade carpet weaving.
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Izmir. Upon arrival, a representative will greet you and escort you to your hotel in Kuşadası. Then, enjoy a guided tour of the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the ancient city of Ephesus, including the historic stadium where chariot and horse races were held. Afterwards, experience traditional Turkish handicrafts before visiting the charming mountain village of Şirince, renowned for its delicious fruit wines, which you’ll have the opportunity to sample.
After breakfast, visit the stunning calcium terraces of Pamukkale and the ancient city of Hierapolis, where you’ll explore the well-preserved necropolis, main street, city gates, thermal baths, Greco-Roman theater, and the Basilica of St. Philip. To complete the experience, take a refreshing swim in the therapeutic hot spring mineral waters, cherished for their healing properties since ancient times.
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Izmir Airport for your flight to Cappadocia. Upon arrival, a representative will meet you and escort you to your hotel.
An optional hot air balloon flight is available this morning. Afterwards, we’ll explore the Göreme Open-Air Museum, Uçhisar Castle, Devrent Valley, and the famous fairy chimneys of Cappadocia.
This morning, we visit Pigeon Valley followed by the stunning Red Valley. Next, explore the historic cave churches and the village of Çavuşin before heading to Kaymakli Underground City, the largest underground city in the region.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cappadocia Airport for your flight to Istanbul, where our services conclude.
